Aurobindo gets USFDA's tentative nod for two drugs

Home-grown drug firm Aurobindo Pharma has received a tentative approval from the US food and drug administration for the generic version of Fluoxetine, used to treat different kinds of depressions.

According to information on the regulator's website, the company has got a tentative approval for the Fluoxetine capsule in 10 mg, 20 mg and 40 mg strengths.

The USFDA has also granted tentative approval to the company to market pain killer Gebapentine in multiple strengths.

The company has received an approval to market Gebapentine capsule in 100mg, 200mg and 300 mg strengths.
